Meet Richard “Rick” Bell, a true Californian at heart, boasting an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing from the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles Anderson Graduate School of Management. Additionally, he holds a BS in Finance from the esteemed Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
With an outstanding professional journey spanning over three decades, Rick has emerged as a seasoned real estate executive with an exceptional track record. His prowess in deal-making has been evident in his involvement with over $3 billion of successful transactions in multifamily, seniors housing, and commercial properties including acquisition, development, financing, and dispositions.
As Founder and President of Bell Realty Ventures, Rick astutely supervised transactions surpassing the $1 billion mark, including the development of 2,850 units of multifamily and seniors housing on the West Coast.
Rick’s background includes acquisition, development and financing roles with leading companies such as Carmel Partners, Lincoln Properties, Marriott International, Eden Housing, Confluent Development, AF Evans, Artis Senior Living, ManorCare Health Services, PepsiCo, Rosewood Properties, and Security Pacific National Bank.
Currently serving as a Senior Vice President at IPG, Rick plays a vital and influential role, leveraging his extensive expertise and leadership acumen to drive strategic initiatives and significantly contribute to the company’s growth and success. Rick leads the national multifamily platform, where investment sales, financing, and investment banking merge seamlessly to provide comprehensive advisory solutions.

Outside of work, Rick is a father of three boys and has served as a coach for 20 years in youth club sports including soccer, baseball and CYO basketball in Danville, CA. He is an adept outdoorsman who enjoys skiing, white-water kayaking, mountain biking, backpacking, swimming, and trail running.
