When we heard of IPG's plans to develop the Focus Innovation Studio, we immediately wanted in. It has been our headquarters since 2017. As an architect who specializes in life sciences facilities, I was interested in forming an alliance with a real estate services group to better serve the needs of my client base. I was originally introduced to Warner through industry contacts as a result of his representation and development of facilities to serve clients and tenants in the life sciences industry. First in San Diego, then throughout California, I have collaborated with IPG to pursue many opportunities and have been successful in developing facilities for a variety of clients, including universities, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and federal government agencies. IPG has been an ideal partner for Lilac as we scaled our R&D and manufacturing operations in Oakland over the last few years. IPG was by our side when we leased our very first space with only 1,500 sf. As we grew, they helped us transition into our next 14,000 sf space and then into our current 100,000 sf facility.
